What online consultations can and cannot do, and when you should not wait for one.

Last updated 1 October 2026

1. Not for emergencies

Holy Jesus Pharma RX is not an emergency service. Appointments are booked in advance, so a doctor may not be available when you need help right now.

If you or someone else has chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of a stroke, heavy bleeding, a serious injury, a severe allergic reaction, loss of consciousness, thoughts of harming yourself or anything else that could be life-threatening, call your local emergency number immediately (112 in India) or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not wait for an online appointment.

2. What an online consultation can and cannot do

A video consultation lets a doctor listen, ask questions and look at what you can show on camera. It cannot replace a physical examination, tests or scans. Doctors on the platform are independent and use their own clinical judgement. They may:

  • advise you to see a doctor in person, or to get tests done first;
  • refer you to another specialist or to emergency care;
  • decline to prescribe a medicine, including one that the law does not allow to be prescribed by teleconsultation;
  • stop a consultation they consider unsafe to continue remotely.

3. The doctor and you

A consultation you have booked and attended creates a doctor–patient relationship between you and that doctor for that consultation. Browsing the website, reading its articles, or using its search does not.

Holy Jesus Pharma RX provides the platform and does not practise medicine. The medical advice, diagnosis and any prescription are the doctor’s responsibility.

4. Information on this website

The articles, condition guides and other content on this website are general information. They are not medical advice, do not cover every situation, and do not replace talking to a doctor about your own circumstances. Never ignore or delay professional advice because of something you read here.

5. What we ask of you

  • Tell your doctor your full history, current medicines and allergies. Leaving things out can make advice unsafe.
  • Follow the doctor’s instructions, and go back to a doctor or emergency services if you get worse or something is not as expected.
  • Do not stop or change prescribed treatment without speaking to a doctor.

6. Prescriptions and medicines

A prescription is the doctor’s decision, made on what you told them and showed them. Take medicines as prescribed, do not share them, and have a prescription filled only by a registered pharmacy. We do not sell or deliver medicines.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking other medicines, or have a long-term condition, say so at the start of the consultation.

7. No guarantee

Health outcomes depend on many things, and we cannot promise any particular result from a consultation. See our Terms of Use for the limits of our responsibility.
